Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at an unoccupied terraced house on Heathlands Way in Hounslow.
The property was destroyed by the blaze. There were no reports of any injuries.
Sub Officer Owen Matthews, who was at the scene, said: “Thankfully the property was unoccupied so there was no one inside.
“Firefighters were faced with a well developed fire when they arrived and crews worked hard to prevent the blaze damaging neighbouring properties.”
The Brigade was called at 0359 and the fire was under control by 0525. Fire crews from Feltham and Heston fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
