Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a bungalow fire on Bath Road in Heathrow.
The entire roof of a detached bungalow was destroyed by fire. A cordon was in place as a precaution whilst crews removed one gas cylinder and cooled it to an ambient temperature as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1117 and the fire was under control by 1326. Fire crews from Heathrow and Feltham fire stations and crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
