Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a block of flats on Chelsea Manor Street in Chelsea.
Part of a ground floor flat in a four-storey block was damaged by the fire. One man left the flat before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1424 and the fire was under control by 1528. Fire crews from Fulham, Battersea, Kensington and Lambeth fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
