A man has sadly died in hospital following a fire on Clarence Avenue in Ilford.
Firefighters tackled a small fire in a kitchen on the ground floor of a semi-detached house. One man was found in the garden of the property and was treated on scene before being taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews, where he sadly passed away in July.
The Brigade was called at 1058 and the fire was under control by 1141. Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters from Ilford Fire Station were at the scene.
