Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a restaurant with offices above on Panton Street in Haymarket, off Leicester Square.
An electrical intake cupboard on the ground floor of the five-storey building was destroyed by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1052 and the fire was under control by 1208. Fire crews from Soho, Euston and Lambeth fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been electrical.
