Sadly a woman has died following a flat fire on Adys Road in East Dulwich.
Half of a ground floor flat in a converted terraced house was damaged by fire. Firefighters found a woman in a ground floor bedroom who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 2216 and the fire was under control by 2320. Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from Peckham, New Cross and Old Kent Road fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
