Sadly a woman has died following a flat fire on Waverley Road in Hornsey.
Part of a four-roomed flat on the ground floor of the building was damaged by fire. A woman was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews, where she sadly later died.
The Brigade was called at 1822 and the fire was under control by 1850. One fire engine from Hornsey Fire Station attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
