Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a shop with flats above on Bedfont Lane in Feltham.
Half of a shop on the ground floor of the building was damaged by fire. Two men left the building before the Brigade arrived and were treated on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
Station Officer Daniel Wareham, who was at the scene, said: “On arrival, crews were faced with smoke coming from inside the shop.
“The road was closed whilst crews worked quickly to bring the fire under control and make the scene safe.
“Two employees left the shop before the Brigade arrived who were treated on scene."
The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took 8 calls to the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1603 and the fire was under control by 1657. Fire crews from Heston and Twickenham fire stations attended the scene.
The Brigade’s Fire Investigators believe the fire was accidental and involved a propane gas aerosol.
