Four people were given vital fire survival guidance by 999 Control Officers at a house fire on Antill Road in Tottenham.
The ground floor of a mid-terraced house was destroyed by fire. Two men and a woman left the building via the rear garden before the Brigade arrived. The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers gave the residents advice on how to stay safe before firefighters arrived and assisted a further man to safety from a flat roof in the rear garden.
Three men and a woman were treated on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 0202 and the fire was under control by 0337. Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters from Tottenham and Walthamstow fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
