Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a warehouse fire on Restmor Way in Hackbridge.
Firefighters tackled a fire in the roof void of a single-storey storage warehouse and an adjoining office block. A significant part of the roof was damaged by the fire.
Road closures were in place and we encouraged people to avoid the area.
The Brigade was called at 1538 and the fire was under control by 1806. Fire crews from Sutton, Mitcham, Wallington and Norbury fire stations attended the scene.
The Brigade's Fire Investigators believe the fire was accidental and caused by hot works being carried out.
