Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire on Raynham Terrace in Edmonton.
Half of the first floor of a semi-detached house was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
Firefighters worked very quickly on arrival to limit fire spread to a rear bedroom and prevent further damage.
The Brigade was called at 1754 and the fire was under control by 1845. Fire crews from Tottenham and Edmonton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
