Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on Greville Road in Walthamstow.
Firefighters tackled a blaze at a mid-terraced house where part of the roof was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1001 and the fire was under control by 1122. Fire crews from Leyton, Leytonstone, Woodford and Stratford fire stations attended the scene.
The fire will be investigated by the Brigade.
