Five fire engines and around 35 firefighters were called to a small trackside fire at Whitechapel Station.
Around 100 staff and passengers evacuated from the station.
The Brigade was called at 0944 and the fire was under control by 1120. Fire crews from Whitechapel, Shadwell, Shoreditch, Bethnal Green and Dowgate fire stations attended the scene.
