Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters tackled a waste recycling plant blaze on Oakleigh Road in New Southgate.
A corrugated building containing a large amount of general waste was damaged by fire. Thankfully the fire did not affect any properties but there was heavy smoke in the local area.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 15 calls to the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 2025 and the fire was under control by 2355. Firefighters from Southgate and surrounding fire stations were at the scene throughout the night.
