Flat fire - Forest Hill

 Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a blaze in a studio flat in Dartmouth Road, Forest Hill.

 The second floor studio flat was completely destroyed in the fire. Fortunately there were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 0026 and the fire was under control by 0109.

Crews from Forest Hill, Beckenham, and West Norwood fire stations attended the incident.

 The fire is believed to have been caused by a halogen heater positioned too close to combustible materials.
