Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house converted into flats on Elsham Road in Holland Park.
Part of a flat on the second floor of the four-storey building was damaged by the fire. Two people left the affected flat before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 14 calls to the blaze.
Station Officer Rob Pratt, who was at the scene, said: "Firefighters were faced with a fire on the second floor flat which could clearly be seen from nearby roads.
"Crews quickly brought the fire under control and there were no injuries."
The Brigade was called at 0200 and the fire was under control by 0322. Fire crews from Hammersmith, Kensington and North Kensington fire stations attended.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
