Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire on Myrtle Road in Acton.
Part of a room on the ground floor of a terraced house and a small part of a room on the first floor were damaged by fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rescued a woman who was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews. Another man was also taken to hospital after suffering from smoke inhalation.
The Brigade was called at 1037 and the fire was under control by 1126. Fire crews from Acton, Chiswick and Hammersmith fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
