Firefighters were called to a flat fire on Ferney Meade Way in Isleworth.
Part of a four-roomed flat on the second floor of a residential block was damaged by fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus assisted a man from the property who was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews. Around 12 residents were out of the building before the Brigade arrived.
The Brigade was called at 2348 and the fire was under control by 0111. Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from Heston, Richmond and Chiswick fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
