Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat above a shop on Northfield Avenue in West Ealing.
Part of the first floor of a six-roomed flat was damaged by fire. Firefighters rescued a woman from a second-floor flat roof using a nine-metre ladder. Two further men left the building before the Brigade arrived. They were all treated on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The fire was discovered by a resident who could smell burning and raised the alarm.
The Brigade was called at 2247 and the fire was under control by 2345. Fire crews from Ealing, Acton and Southall fire stations attended the scene.
The fire is believed to have been accidental but the exact cause has been recorded as undetermined.
