Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire on Chaucer Green in Croydon.
Part of the first floor and half of the external fascia at the rear of a semi-detached house were damaged by fire. Two men left the property before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0009 and the fire was under control by 0056. Fire crews from Addington, Norbury, Woodside and Beckenham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
