Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Lord Avenue in Ilford.
Part of the roof of a semi-detached house was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 2358 and the fire was under control by 0137. Fire crews from Hainault, Woodford, Leytonstone and Ilford fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
