Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire in a maisonette above a restaurant on Moreton Street in Pimlico.
Part of the maisonette on the first and second floors was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1323 and the fire was under control by 1410. Fire crews from Clapham, Brixton and Dowgate fire stations attended the scene.
The fire is believed to have been accidental but the cause has been recorded as undetermined.
