Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to vehicles alight on Benskins Lane in Noak Hill.
Three cars, a caravan and around two tonnes of rubbish were destroyed by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1538 and the fire was under control by 1619. Fire crews from Plaistow and Romford fire stations attended the scene, as well as crews from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
