Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at a factory on Rockingham Road in Uxbridge.
An outbuilding was destroyed and part of an adjoining workshop was damaged by fire. Part of the garden, fascia and guttering of an end-of-terrace house was also damaged by the blaze. A woman was treated on scene by London Ambulance Service crews after suffering from smoke inhalation.
One of the Brigade’s 32-metre turntable ladders was used as an observational tower at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 0349 and the fire was under control by 0632. Fire crews from Hillingdon, Ruislip, Hayes, Southall and Heathrow fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
