Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at a flat on Emperor’s Gate in South Kensington.
An air conditioning unit and patio furniture on the roof terrace of a block of flats were destroyed by fire. Ten people left surrounding properties before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took 14 calls to the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 0318 and the fire was under control by 0417. Fire crews from Chelsea, Kensington, Fulham, Hammersmith, Battersea and North Kensington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire has been recorded as undetermined.
