Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Princess Street in Southwark.
Most of a three-roomed flat on the third floor of a mixed-use building was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took 23 calls to the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1622 and the fire was under control by 1723. Fire crews from Old Kent Road, Peckham, Dowgate and Dockhead fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
