Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a shop fire on Shelton Street in Covent Garden.
Part of the ground floor of a shop with offices above was damaged by fire. Part of the external fascia was also damaged by the blaze. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1742 and the fire was under control by 1923. Fire crews from Soho, Dowgate and Lambeth fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
