Sadly, a person has died after a car fire on Clarence Avenue in Clapham.
A car was destroyed by fire. A person inside the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 0245 and the incident was over for firefighters by 0324. Fire crews from Brixton and Clapham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
