The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took nine calls to the blaze and gave vital fire survival guidance to those inside on how to stay safe before crews arrived.

The Brigade was called at 1344 and the fire was under control by 1433. Fire crews from Battersea, Hammersmith, Clapham, Wandsworth and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
