Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Eton Road in Ilford.
Half of the ground floor and part of the first floor of a mid-terraced house were damaged by fire. Firefighters rescued a man from the rear garden of the property. A man and a woman are being treated on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 1036 and the fire was under control by 1121. Fire crews from Ilford and Barking fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
