Firefighters were called to a maisonette fire on Holstein Way in Erith yesterday.
Half of the second floor of a mid-terraced maisonette was damaged by fire. A man, a woman and four children left the building before the Brigade arrived. Two adults were assessed on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 0822 and the fire was under control by 0909. Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from Plumstead, Bexley and Erith fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
