Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a shop on Sandringham Road in Dalston.
Part of the lower ground and ground floor of a mid-terraced shop were damaged by the fire as well as a small part of the first floor. A lean-to at the rear of the property was also damaged. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0301 and the fire was under control by 0433. Fire crews from Stoke Newington, Islington and Homerton fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire has been recorded as undetermined.
