Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire in a garden on Mead Road in Ham.
Five garden sheds were destroyed by fire. Around four metres of garden hedging, a large area of fencing, a decking area and guttering belonging to several properties were also damaged by the blaze. There were no reports of any injuries.
Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras to check for fire spread and ensure there were no remaining hot spots.
The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took 42 calls to the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1715 and the fire was under control by 1857. Fire crews from New Malden, Heston, Surbiton and Richmond fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
