Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a house on Lilford Road in Brixton.
A shed and three metres of fencing were destroyed by fire. Part of the rear and the lower ground floor of a mid-terraced house was also damaged by the blaze, along with part of the external fascia of a neighbouring property. One man left the building before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 10 calls to the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1037 and the fire was under control by 1146. Fire crews from Brixton, West Norwood, Dockhead and New Cross fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
