Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a blaze at a semi-detached house in Leysdown Road, Eltham.
Half of the first floor of the house was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 2241 and the fire was under control by 2327. Fire crews from Eltham, Sidcup, Lee Green and Bromley stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
