Firefighters tackled a flat fire on Boundary Road in St John’s Wood.
Part of a five-roomed flat on the ground floor of a residential block was damaged by fire. One person left the building before the Brigade arrived. Firefighters led two adults and a child to safety from a neighbouring flat who were assessed on scene by London Ambulance Service crews after suffering from smoke inhalation.
The Brigade was called at 2013 and the fire was under control by 2103. Five fire engines and around 35 firefighters from Paddington, North Kensington and West Hampstead fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
