Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to garages alight on Katherine Gardens in Ilford.
Part of a range of disused garages and a single-storey office were damaged by fire. Part of the shared roof was also damaged by the blaze. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took 12 calls to the fire.
The Brigade was called at 1824 and the fire was under control by 1926. Fire crews from Hainault, Woodford and Ilford fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
