Five fire engines and around 35 firefighters were called to a fire at a pub on the High Street in Hampton Hill.
Crews tackled a fire in the ventilation system from the ground floor to the roof of the three-storey building. There are currently no reports of any injuries.
Firefighters are expected to remain on scene this afternoon. There are road closures in place whilst crews continue to work to make the site safe.
The Brigade was called at 1305 and the fire was under control by 1500. Fire crews from Twickenham and Kingston fire stations and crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
