Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire at a warehouse on Rivermead Road in Edmonton.
Part of a single storey warehouse used for food storage was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1919 and the fire was under control by 2029. Fire crews from Chingford, Edmonton, Woodford, Leyton, Walthamstow and Tottenham fire stations were at the scene.
The fire is believed to have involved a power supply cable for a freezer.
