Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to flooding affecting flats on Plough Road in Clapham Junction.
Flood water up to a depth of around 4 inches affected flats on the first and second floors of a three-storey building after a water pipe burst in the loft space. Crews worked with partners to make the scene safe and carried out salvage operations to recover items and minimise damage. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0853 and the incident was over for firefighters by 1308. Fire crews from Battersea, Wandsworth, Chelsea and Fulham fire stations attended the scene.
