Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a mixed-use commercial building on Rye Lane in Peckham.
A commercial kitchen on the third floor of the building was destroyed by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0317 and the fire was under control by 0415. Fire crews from Peckham, New Cross, Old Kent Road and Brixton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been electrical.
