Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at storage building in a cemetery in Mossford Green, Barkingside.
The single storey building was badly affected by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1952 and the fire was under control 2158. Fire crews from Hainault, Ilford, Woodford and surrounding stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Metropolitan Police
