Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Falmouth Way in Walthamstow.
Part of two flats on the third floor of a four-storey block were damaged by fire. Another third-floor flat and a pitched roof were destroyed. Around ten people left the property before the Brigade arrived. Firefighters led two people to safety. There are currently no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's Control Officers took 19 calls about the fire.
The Brigade was called at 1158 and the fire was under control by 1329. Fire crews from Walthamstow, Leyton, Tottenham and other surrounding fire stations are at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
