Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Barnsbury Lane in Tolworth.
Part of two three-roomed flats on the ground floor of the building were damaged by fire. A small part of a first-floor flat was also damaged by the blaze. One car and a motorbike in the garage below the flats were completely destroyed by fire. Four residents left the building before crews arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took five calls to the fire.
The Brigade was called at 2324 and the fire was under control by 0048. Fire crews from Surbiton, New Malden and Sutton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
