Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire on Littlewood in Hither Green.
The first floor of a mid-terrace house was destroyed by the fire. A man and woman left the building before the Brigade arrived. They were assessed on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 0712 and the fire was under control by 0815. Fire crews from Lewisham, Lee Green, Greenwich and Deptford fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
