Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Wrentham Avenue in Kensal Rise.
Part of the first floor of an end-of-terrace house was damaged by fire. Two women left the building before the Brigade arrived and were treated on scene for smoke inhalation.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and caused by textiles on a lightbulb.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: "Lightbulbs can get incredibly hot and can set fire to combustible materials.
"It's important to keep them away from anything that might catch fire such as books, clothing, sheets and curtains.”
The Brigade was called at 1903 and the fire was under control by 2003. Fire crews from North Kensington, Willesden, Paddington and Park Royal fire stations attended the scene.
