Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Fir Road in Feltham.
Half of a four roomed ground floor flat in a two-storey residential building was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of injuries.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and caused by an electrical fault.
The Brigade was called at 2110 and the fire was under control at 2155. Fire crews from Twickenham and Feltham fire stations attended the scene.
