Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Sandy Drive in Feltham.
Part of the ground floor of a two-storey mid terraced house was damaged by the fire. One man suffering from smoke inhalation was rescued by fire crews wearing breathing apparatus via an internal staircase and was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. A further three people left the property before the Brigade arrived.
The Brigade was called at 1307 and the fire was under control at 1420. Fire crews from Feltham, Heston and Heathrow fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
