House fire - Fulham

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a house fire on Radipole Road in Fulham. 

Part of the basement of a mid-terraced house was damaged by fire. Firefighters rescued a man from the second floor of the building using a 9-metre ladder. There were no reports of any injuries. 

The Brigade's 999 Control Officers gave vital fire survival guidance to residents inside the flat on how to stay safe before firefighters arrived.

The Brigade was called at 1554 and the fire was under control by 1651. Fire crews from Hammersmith, Battersea, Tooting, Chelsea and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.

The fire is believed to have been accidental caused by an electrical fault.
