Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a flat fire on Green Lanes in Hornsey.
Firefighters tackled a fire at a first floor flat within a semi detached house, where a large part of the flat was damaged by the blaze.
Two men were rescued by firefighters using a ladder, one was assessed at the scene and one was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 0600 and the fire was under control by 0712. Fire crews from Holloway, Tottenham and Stoke Newington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire will be investigated.
